Takeaways from Colonbroom's 11 Step Upsell Funnel
We just released a breakdown of Colonbroom's Supplement Quiz funnel inside the Funnel of the Week Members Area, and no surprise...
...It's a beast.
Colonbroom has ELEVEN upsells / OTOs!
Go to the Funnel of the Week Members Area to checkout the full funnel…
(Already a member? here's a direct link to the content )
Now Colonbroom’s whole funnel is set up by an incredibly well-done quiz funnel…
But right now in this post let's take a look at 2 "unconventional" supplement funnel upsells they're running that you can plug in to your own funnel and easily boost AOV - without adding to your COGS.
Upsell Tactic 1: "Barista iPad Spin" - AOV booster
Let's start with a "secret" upsell - upsell 12 which is actually a post-purchase upsell.
Ever been to a coffee shop and the cashier does the old “ipad spin” and says...
"It's just gonna ask you a couple quick questions..."
Well that’s exactly what Colonbroom does on the post-purchase page.
After we've gone through the full upsell funnel and bought everything…
(in this case we spent $624.54 )
We get hit with this question:
Select the amount, click the “send a tip” button and AOV ticks up in significant (if incrementally).
That’s definitely one way to add to AOV...
(we took the cheapskate route and tipped $2.99… You're welcome Colonbroom)
Upsell Tactic 2: Deep Funnel Info Product
What’s great about info products?
For one: high perceived value, zero COGS.
That’s why it’s great to see supplement / ecomm brands adding info products to the value stack - and even better - as standalone upsell products.
And that’s exactly what Colonbroom does here in upsell 11 by selling this $39 ebook:
Elaborating on Colonbroom’s broadest appeal (weight loss), and positioning the ebook as a way to maximize results from the proudct they’ve already purchased maximizes uptake.
How could you add a similar digital upsell to your own supplement/ecomm funnel?
Worth thinking about for sure.
Bonus Upsell Tactic 3: Recurring Info Product Upsells
How to take this to the next level?
Have a think about how you can provide ongoing value via guidance to your buyers…
…And add a RECURRING info product to your upsell funnel, like Nooro does here with their $97/mo membership (sold via free trial as upsell 3 in their funnel):
This way you deliver ongoing value to your customers and get paid again and again, with a very low overhead / fulfillment headaches.

ColonBroom’s Full Funnel:
There are 11 total upsells in Colonbroom’s funnel and we bought and documented all of them for you...
